Dakota Drag Strip site rules
- Please watch your speed when driving on-site. There are many people walking around especially young children.
- No glass bottles, jars etc allowed on site. This is for you and your car's safety.
- Please remember noise from the racing.
- Please wear ear protection at all times in close proximity of the track.
- Do not trespass onto any of the adjoining private fields.
- Only charcoal barbecues are allowed; open fires of any sort are not permitted. Wood will not be allowed on site or to be collected from adjoining private land.
- No dogs or pets of any kind are allowed on site for any reason.
Track rules
- A full valid UK Driving Licence is required (both parts) to sign-on. NO LICENSE NO PARTICIPATION
- Seat belt is mandatory for your own safety. Arms and legs my be covered in
- Helmets required for all bikes and cars, (we have spare helmets you can borrow) Arm straps required in open top cars. Arm restraint can be purchased on site.
- Bikers have to wear crash helmet together with appropriate motorcycle riding apparel. One-piece or two-piece zip-together suits are recommended, made from suitable materials. T-shirts and shorts are not to be worn riding on the track.
- Before you go on to the track you need to sign a disclaimer form and pay your signing on fee.(unless pre paid)
- No Passengers are allowed on the strip.
- Follow Safety marshall Instructions.
- When you have finished your run and are directed off the track Please adhere to the 10MPH Speed Limit (Failure to do so will mean you will be banned from further track use)
- All cars and bikes must be SAFE. Cars and bike are subject to a safety check prior to racing.
- Any dangerous driving on site, Dakota Drag Strip have the right to withdraw you from the event. Driving under the influence of alcohol will lead to removal from the site and furture events NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.
- Drag racing tickets are NON TRANSFERABLE if you want to drag race then you need to buy your own ticket and not share with others!
